Announcing the WestShore Business Club
hosted by Junior Achievement of B.C.

This is the ultimate training ground for young entrepreneurs ages 15 to 18 years who are wishing to learn about creating and operating a business. Participants will form a student-run company, raise capital, develop and execute plans, and more and there is no cost to join. Register now.

Junior Achievement is currently seeking volunteers to mentor students in this Club. If you have financial, marketing, business planning, and/or human resource management skills that you'd be willing to share with young Achievers, please contact Deborah Wakeham.

Climate Action WestShore

CAWS, a West Shore Chamber of Commerce Committee, is an active grassroots alliance of businesses, organizations and individuals to educate and promote the actions we need to take as we prepare our WestShore community for climate change.

They have implemented a recycling program for those items that are not welcome in your household's blue box. Every second Saturday of the month, join other climate aware WestShore community members at Belmont Secondary School with clean recyclables such as;

  • random plastics (ex. plastic cracker wrappers)
